<p>An iron-based sintered alloy produced through a mixing step (S16) in which an iron-manganese alloy powder, graphite powder, and iron powder are mixed together by means of a mixer, a compacting step (S18) in which the powder mixture is pressed at a given pressure to compact it, and a sintering step (S20) in which the resultant compact is sintered in a sintering oven at a given temperature for a given time, characterized in that the iron-manganese alloy powder contains 2-30 mass% manganese. In particular, the mixing step (S16) comprises mixing 5-50 mass% iron-manganese alloy powder, 0.2-2 mass% graphite powder, and an iron powder as the remainder by means of a mixer. Thus, mechanical strength can be further improved.</p> |
