A manufacturing method of automatic drive plate and sensor ring for automobiles is provided to effective secure stiffness of the drive plate by using a workpiece made from low carbon steel, medium carbon steel or high strength steel sheets, and improve formability and productivity by easily forming the workpiece into a stable state through the preheating process of the workpiece. A manufacturing method of automatic drive plate and sensor ring for automobiles comprises the steps of: sequentially subjecting a steel sheet slit and sheared by a pressing process to blanking, bending, piercing and restriking processes to manufacture a disk type workpiece(10); subjecting the disk type workpiece to a preheating process by a high/low frequency equipment before cold forming the disk type workpiece; rotating a roller(50) and a forming roll(60) on the disk type workpiece to cold form a rim(12) on the entire outer peripheral surface of the disk type workpiece; subjecting the rim formed on the entire outer peripheral surface of the disk type workpiece to a chiseling operation by a hobbing machine to manufacture a drive plate and a sensor ring; and subjecting the manufactured drive plate and sensor ring to an oil cooling process and a heat treatment process.
