PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regulating an enzymic (lipase) degradability of a biodegradable resin, more concretely a polycaprolactone (PCL) resin; and to provide a method for predicting and evaluating the enzymic degradability of a biodegradable resin from results by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and pulse NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) measurement. SOLUTION: Samples having different enzymic degradabilities can be obtained by regulating a biodegradable resin by using different heat history conditions from a molten state. Enzymic degradation tests by lipase are carried out as these samples to evaluate the enzymic degradability, and instrumental analyses thereof by the DSC and the pulse NMR are carried out. As a result, a relation is recognized between the biodegradability and the result by each instrumental analysis. From the fact, the method for regulating a material having efficient enzymic degradability can be provided, and the enzymic degradability can be evaluated previously. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
