A method for predicting the ultimate collapse strength of a perforated steel sheet under a shear force is provided to prevent safety accidents by predicting the ultimate collapse strength with high precision. A method for predicting the ultimate collapse strength of a perforated steel sheet under a shear force comprises a step of expecting or measuring the vertical and horizontal length and the thickness of the perforated steel sheet, and the diameter of the hole formed on the perforated steel sheet, and a step of calculating the ultimate collapse strength of the perforated steel sheet by using each expected or measured value. The edge portion of the perforated steel sheet maintains the linear state till the ultimate limit which the perforated steel sheet can bear, and the ultimate collapse strength of the perforated steel sheet decreases as the diameter of hole increases. |
