The present invention relates to a display panel having a scan driver and a method of operating the same. The display panel comprises a shift register which comprises stages which shift and output a clock signal. The display region of the display panel is divided into driving regions. The stages of the shift resistors corresponding to each of the driving regions form a stage group. Each stage group uses an independent start signal and successively outputs a scan signal from stages included in the stage group. So, the output timing of the scan signal can be controlled. |
