The present invention relates to an outdoor unit of an air conditioner, to prevent inflow of rainwater into a control box through discharge ports formed on an upper surface of the control box. The outdoor unit of an air conditioner comprises: a case including a base pan defining a floor portion, an out plate vertically standing on an upper surface edge of the base pan, and a cover plate having a discharge port and placed on an upper surface of the out plate; a control box accommodated in the case, and mounted on one side of a rear surface of the out plate; a heat exchanger received in the case; a fan motor assembly received in the case; and a compressor placed on the base pan. The control box comprises: a housing having left and right lateral surfaces, an upper surface and a rear surface, with open portions on front and lower surfaces; a plurality of electric components received in the housing; a protruding portion protruding upward from the upper surface; and a plurality of discharge ports formed on the protruding portion. |
