PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for mounting a rotor, capable of smoothly mounting the rotor to a revolving shaft without damaging the rotor when mounting the rotor to the revolving shaft by inserting the revolving shaft into a mounting hole of the rotor.SOLUTION: The device is provided with a retainer 17 that holds a plate-formed rotor 3 having a mounting hole 4 bored at a center part of the rotor, and a transfer mechanism 18 that moves the retainer. The transfer mechanism 18 is configured to move the rotor 3, a surface 3a to be held of which is held against a holding surface 26b of the retainer 17, to an axis direction of a revolving shaft 6a to make the revolving shaft 6a inserted into the mounting hole 4. The retainer 17 is provided with suction means 27, 31 that suck air such that the rotor 3 is held at a side of the holding surface 26b, and discharge means 28 that discharges air such that a gap S1 for allowing a movement of the rotor 3 is formed between the holding surface 26b and the surface 3a to be held with the suction holding being maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
