In an isolation circuit configuration for a gate driver circuit for isolation of high frequencies in the band from 1 MHz to 1000 MHz using a transformer, the present invention makes an excitation current reset period unnecessary, suppresses the occurrence of noise current by eliminating the occurrence of a post-reset self-resonance phenomenon, and suppresses switching element malfunctioning resulting from noise. In the driving of a plurality of gate circuits using a high-frequency signal, in a configuration for isolating an input signal for driving using a gate drive transformer, causing the excitation current flowing through the primary coil of the gate drive transformer to constantly alternatingly flow in both directions without interruption makes a reset period resulting from the flow of excitation current in one direction only unnecessary, suppresses the occurrence of noise current by eliminating the occurrence of a post-reset self-resonance phenomenon, and suppresses switching element malfunctioning resulting from noise. |
