PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom in the inner structure of a muffler and sufficiently suppress an exhaust sound, while simplifying a manufacturing process.SOLUTION: A muffler 1 comprises: an outer shell member 10 having an inlet 13a and an outlet 14a; an exhaust path 2 formed by plural plate members for the exhaust path, that are stacked in a predetermined stack direction inside of the outer shell member and are formed by press-forming, and guiding exhaust gas entering through the inlet to the outlet; a silencing space provided inside of the exhaust path for performing sound attenuation; and a partition part 30 that is a plate member formed by press-forming, is stacked in the stack direction together with the plate members for the exhaust path in a state of partitioning the silencing space and the other spaces in the exhaust path and has plural holes for guiding the exhaust gas flowing in the exhaust path to the silencing space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
