PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film heater, having heat resistance of 500 to 600°C, maintaining high flexibility even after manufacturing.SOLUTION: The thin film heater includes an insulating film formed by applying a solution containing a siloxane-based compound formed by hydrolyzing triethoxysilane and vinyltrimethoxysilane, co-condensing it, and adding tetramethyldisiloxane on at least one surface of a thermoelectric material, and drying it. By making a surface of the insulating film of the thin film heater carry a metal having a catalytic action, an efficient self-heating type catalyst medium can be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
