PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain any excess search for a handover destination access point.SOLUTION: A mobile communication device 1 includes a radio communication unit 1a and a control unit 1b. The radio communication unit 1a performs first scan to search for an access point. The control unit 1b determines whether a plurality of access points given the same identification information (for example, access points 2a, 2b, 2c given "ID_0") have been detected on different channels (for example, CH1, CH6, CH44) by the first scan. The control unit 1b changes a method for second scan to be performed after connecting to the access point 2a depending on the result of the determination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
