<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the lost article information managing method which can manage information on lost articles widely and integrally in respective organs such as a station and a police box. SOLUTION: This method consists of a lost article information storage step wherein >=1 piece of attribute information featuring a lost article and the name of the organ where a 1st processor (terminal 101) is installed are inputted from the 1st processor and stored in lost article files (103-105) on a 2nd processor (host computer 102), a retrieval step wherein at least one piece of attribute information on one lost article is inputted to retrieve information from the lost article management files on the 2nd processor, and an output step wherein the attribute information on the lost article retrieved in the retrieval step and the name of the organ where the 1st processor to which the attribute information is inputted is installed are outputted together.</p> |
