Fodder especially for ruminants, for direct use or as an additive for ensilage, is produced by mixing urea with swellable feedstuffs, such as dried potato mash, and/or spent bleaching earth from fat purification processes. Dried or thickened curd may also be added. By this method, losses of undigested urea are reduced. |
