Cooling of bricks in kilns or similar problems are resolved by providing two counterflows of cold air the outputs of which are in counter phase to each other. This is reflected in periodic transversal flows and leads to uniform distribution of cold air throughout the chamber. Both inputs have the same peak flows, and the period of flow change over is at least 10 seconds. |
