Steroids with the following structure: - where R1 = n-alkyl (pref. Et.Prn) (1-4 C) - X = carbonyl, hydroxymethylene, alkylene-dioxymethylene, acyloxymethylene or alkylhydroxymethylene - Q is -CH2- or -CH2CH2- - Acyl is ( >6 C atoms) e.g. n-decanoyl or PhCH2CH2CO- - alkyl is e.g. Me, Et, C triple bond CH, Prn, Pri, CH2C triple bond CH, Bun. - Anabolic agents e.g. I (R1 = Et; X = ; Q =-CH2-). Progestational agents e.g. I (R1 = Et; X = ; Q = -CH2-).
