FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cutting tool holders unit of metal-cutting machine has: rigid cutter - holder; groove for insert positioning formed in front end of cutter-holder and located between flexible and movable gripping jaw made as integral part of cutter-holder and rigid base jaw, that is part of cutter-holder; spaced from each other surface of motion and supporting surface, that are correspondingly formed in / or on gripping jaw and holder; key for groove opening; pair of spaced from each other protruding rods of key, that are distinguished for engagement with above surfaces. At least one of rods is capable to move relatively cutter-holder to provide flexible motion of gripping jaw outside in respect to base gripping jaw in opening position to introduce or remove insert. EFFECT: improved design. |
