<p>A friction disc false twister for synthetic yarns has, on a first axis, friction bodies, each comprising discs of which the middle has the largest diameter, and on a second, parallel axis, the same number of friction bodies comprising further discs interleaving those of the first axis. The yarn lies in the cusp so formed. The need for high friction, high wearing materials for the friction surfaces is avoided.</p> |
