FIELD: optics, electronics, power sources. SUBSTANCE: claimed invention describes process for recovery of titanium alkoxides from solutions formed from electrochemical dissolution of titanium in alkanol in the presence of current conducting additive such as lithium chloride. Said titanium alkoxides thus formed are widely used in the manufacture of highly pure oxides and homogeneous compositions based thereon for optics, electronics and power sources. The claimed process, is novel in that alkanol is fully removed by vacuum rectification at temperature lower than decomposition temperature of titanium alkoxides. The resulting slurry is subjected to hot filtration to separate lithium chloride, and the desired product is removed by rectification from mother liquor at temperature lower than decomposition temperature of the desired product. Full removal of alkanol and subsequent separation of titanium alkoxide are carried out in rectification column at pressure of not higher than 50 mm Hg in the column. EFFECT: more efficient separation process. 4 cl |
