In a water-cooled calibration mandrel for plastic blow moulding machines, comprising (a) a mandrel housing with a longitudinal bore, in which a blow tube is inserted, forming together with this bore an annular space closed at both ends and (b) two cooling water guide chamber formed by the subdivision of the annular space and connected together in the region of the blow tube outlet opening, where one of the chambers is connected with a water feed pipe and the other with a water discharge pipe, the improvement comprises that the cooling water guide chambers (6,6a) are formed by a guide tube (7) situated coaxially in the annular chamber.
