PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of cracking and peeling in a reflecting layer formed in templating a large number of reflection mirror bodies from a synthetic sheet by thermoforming by providing beforehand beads for dispersion of shrinkage force. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 5 made of a synthetic sheet is placed on a vacuum forming die 1 having circular recesses 2 (21, 22-2n) for forming a reflection mirror body, and groove parts 3 for forming beads set on the cutting lines (l) for reflection mirror bodies, and this is vacuum formed, whereby reflection mirror bodies 6 (61, 62,-6n) and beads 7 are formed. Next, a metal (e.g.; aluminum) for reflection is deposited thereon by vapor deposition, plating, etc. to form a reflection layer 8, after which this is cut along the lines (l), (l'), whereby individual reflection mirrors (products) are obtained. According to the above-mentioned method, the shrinkage force generated during thermoforming and cooling is absorbed by the beads 7 and therefore, the generation of defects (cracking, peeling, etc.) for the layer 8 is prevented. |
