METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ACCUMULATION OF HEAT

FIELD: power engineering; devices for accumulation of heat under conditions of irregular consumption. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in use of phase transition heat of heat accumulating agent including two components in working temperature range. Innovation of invention consists in quality of heat accumulating agent which is just emulsion of two liquids one of which has constant phase state in working temperature range; accumulation of heat is effected through reduction of pressure after heating the heat accumulating agent to critical temperature of other liquid. Device proposed for realization of this method has housing similarly to prototype partially filled with two-component heat accumulating agent and charging-discharging heat exchanger mounted in this housing. Device works on emulsion consisting of two liquids at different boiling points; air space above heat accumulating agent is brought in communication with bellows. EFFECT: reduction of heat transfer coefficient due to which control of heat accumulation may be effected; reduction of heat transfer through walls of housing during preservation.
