PURPOSE:To make the determination of overlay positions easy and sure and improve the quality of copies by displaying original information and output information in superposition on a display by an original reading means, and adjusting the relative positions thereof. CONSTITUTION:A composite copying device 1 is constituted of a copying device body 11, a display device 3, an original reading part 13 using a laser, etc. With such constitution, first output information 4 is displayed on a monitor, and an original 2 corresponding to this is placed on an original placing plates 12 and is read with the part 13. If original information 5 is displayed in superposition with this, composite information 6 is obtd. At this time, the operator checks the relative positions of the information 4 and the information 5, adjusts the original 2 by hand when there is a position deviation and when he presses a copying button after this, the copy of the composite information 6 is obtained. Thereby two sets of the information are displayed in superposition and therefore the overlay position is determined easily and surely, and the quality of copies is improved. |
