PURPOSE:To enable the upper limit position of a saw blade housing to be simply changed, by setting the ascent stopping position of the saw housing with the confirmation of cutting conditions in a position where the operation of a saw blade is started. CONSTITUTION:A material W to be cut is set after a saw blade housing 5 is raised, and then the housing 5 is approached by a predetermined distance to the material W. The position of the bousing at this time is stored in a memory 31 as the upper limit thereof, and therefore, an indicating lamp 37 is lit. From this position, the housing 5 is lowered for cutting the material W, and is raised after completion of cutting to the upper limit position stored in the memory 31 where the housing 5 is stopped. The housing 5 is again lowered from the set upper limit position for repeating the cutting process of the next material. |
