<p>PURPOSE:To extend a durable life, by providing plural rod-like seal materials having rubber elasticity, which are wound round in series in the pipe axial direction along the outside circumferential face of a pipe to be tested, and are provided with a clamping mechanism by which each of them draws both end parts in each opposite direction, and a pre-loading piston. CONSTITUTION:Each outside cylinder 1 of the head and the tail of a hydraulic testing machine body is installed to both end parts of a pipe to be tested 10, rod-like seal materials 4, 5 are wound around in series like a circular arc, subsequently, the seal materials 4, 5 are clamped suitably by clamping mechanisms 6, 7, and thereafter, pre-loading is applied into both of the outside cylinders 1, a pre-loading piston 3 is advanced, and the seal materials 4, 5 are made to adhere closely to a backup hardware 2. After said static operation, a prescribed testing hydraulic pressure liquid is injected from a pressurized water injecting socket 8 of one outside cylinder 1 and is pressed. In this case, the other end part of the pipe to be tested 10 is sealed by the other outside cylinder 1 so that high pressurized water does not leak.</p> |
