PURPOSE:To collect remained toner easily and securely by separating a blade capable of contacting a photosensitive drum selectively from the drum and collecting the remaining toner collected with the blade to a collecting means. CONSTITUTION:The combined copying machine is used for a developing device 7 and a cleaner; the blade 18 capable of contacting the photosensitive drum 1 selectively is provided at the upstream side of a corona electrostatic charger 2 and the toner collecting means 19 having a scraper 35 at the lower edge of a toner hopper 32 is provided over the developing device 7. When the blade 18 contacts the drum 1, the remained toner is collected to form toner deposit 21. When the blade 18 is separated on a completion of cleaning operation, the toner deposit 21 becomes a thick layer and an electronic attracting force does not operate thereupon; and it is collected into the collecting means 19 with a scraper 35 when carried toward the developing device 7. Thus, this remained toner is collected easily and securely. |
