PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior storage characteristic because of less self discharge caused by a reaction of a manganese oxide with a nonaqueous electrolyte. SOLUTION: This battery uses powdered complex particles of a boron compd. and a manganese oxide having a P value of 90 or more and an Mn:B atomic ratio of 100:(0.1-20) as a positive active material. P(%)=(A1 /A2 )×100, where A1 is the total area of a superimposed part of a boron distributed part and a manganese distributed part, in a secondary ion mass spectrometry chart, and A2 is the total area of a manganese distributed part in the secondary ion mass spectrometry chart. |
