PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently perform winding operations even when a spiral wound electrode is comparatively lengthened. SOLUTION: In this winding method, the spiral wound electrode 8 where band shaped positive electrodes 4 and similar shaped negative electrodes are wound into a spiral, wound shape via separators, is housed in a cylindrical battery case. In this case, while a winding core is being pulled from both its end sides, these band shaped positive and negative electrodes are so designed as to be laminated over the winding core via the separators so as to be formed into a spiral wound shape. |
