In boiling water reactors, the turbine condenser is connected to a redundantly designed off-gas system which has, situated one after the other in each case in two parallel branches, a steam injector (3), a valve (8), a recombiner (12) with a steam heater (10), a condenser (14) and a gas outlet (20). Steam and air are fed in between the valve (8) and recombiner (12) at a quantity ratio of 1:10 or more. A steam injector (24) is used for this purpose. <IMAGE>
