MPB64 PROTEIN ORIGINATING FROM BCG BACTERIUM AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To efficiently produce MPB 64 protein originating from BCG by culturing the transformant which is transformed with a plasmid into which a gene coding MPB 64 protein originating from Mycobacterium bovis BCG is introduced. CONSTITUTION:The essential sequence of cloned DNA is recombined with the manifestation vector to prepare a recombinant DNA for producing MPB 64 protein. The recombinant DNA is introduced into appropriate host cells to obtain a transformant. The transformant is cultured to obtain the objective MPB64. When the cloned gene of MPB 64 protein is transformed, a wide range of combinations of host cells of procaryotes and eukaryotes with manifestation vectors can be adopted.
