PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive porcelain composition composed of a main component consisting of PbO-La2O3-BaO(or SrO)-ZrO2-TiO2 having a specific composition and specific amounts of PbWO4 and GeO2 and having high dielectric constant, excellent temperature dependency of dielectric constant and high breakdown voltage. CONSTITUTION:The objective porcelain composition having high dielectric constant contains (A) a main component having the composition expressed by formula (M is Ba or Sr; 0.06<=x<=0.3; 0.03<=y<=0.48; 0.2<=z<=0.55), (B) 1-8wt.% of PbWO4 and (C) 0.05-1.5wt.% of GeO2. The high-dielectric constant porcelain composition can be produced by mixing powder of PbO, La2O3, BaCO3, SrCO3, ZrO2, TiO2, BaTiO3, WO3, GeO2, etc,, at prescribed ratios and forming and calcining the mixture. The composition can be calcined at a relatively low calcination temperature. |
