PURPOSE:To produce microcapsules of a large diameter contg. a hydrophobic liq. as the core material in a high yield by coating the hydrophobic liq. with polyamide resin by an interfacial polycondensation reaction. CONSTITUTION:When a hydrophobic liq. is coated with polyamide resin by an interfacial polycondensation reaction to produce microcapsules, the hydrophobic liq. contg. a dissolved polybasic acid halide is added and dispersed in an aq. soln. of a water-soluble polymer having OH, NH2 or NH groups other than PVA or a mixture of the polymer with PVA and then an alkaline compd. and tri- or higher valent amine are successively added. Microcapsules of >=150mum diameter contg. the hydrophobic liq. as the core material are industrially advantageously produced in a high yield. |
