The holder has a base element (1) that is produced as a metal sheet pressing with a wall thickness of approximately 0.8 mm and has a part spherical profile. The socket unit (2) has a similar shape with an end section (3) formed as a coupling. This is engaged by a ring shaped clip (5) once the socket is inserted through the base aperture. The bulb (6) fits into the socket which is now supported such that it may be moved in a tilting action through 360 degrees around the centre line.
