The screened housing is formed from a frame (1, 5, 9) which is fitted with cladding elements via HF seals (22, 23). The frame (1, 5, 9) and the surfaces of the cladding elements attached to the latter are made of stainless steel, each of the frame profiles having a front and rear reinforced edge, pref. obtained by spot welding individual profile elements (1, 5, 9) together, along the full length of their contacting surfaces. Pref. the latter profile elements (1, 5, 9) each have a U or C shaped cross-section, with their open sides facing in the same direction. ADVANTAGE - Allows improved rigidity with reduced overall weight.
