Mobile radio, bus-connected to alternative telephone sets - i.e. handset and hands-free microphone loudspeaker combination which share common bus line to digital controller

A first bus line (12) connects the radio transceiver (1) to a hands-free speech controller (8) incorporating amplifiers (V), convertors (A/D) and a digital signal processor (9). Analogue signals are conveyed by a second bus line (10) in both directions between the controller (8) and two telephone sets (2,3). One set (2) is a handset incorporating a microphone (6) and earphone (7). The other set (3) allowing hands-free operation includes a loudspeaker (4) and a microphone (5) linked to the bus line (10) by a two-way amplifying unit. ADVANTAGE - Can be installed, esp. in motor vehicle, easily and at low cost.
