FIELD: storage of radioactive and chemically active wastes. SUBSTANCE: radioactive and chemically active wastes are drained through systems made in geological formations of alumo-silicate magmatic rock containing magnesium and filled with high-temperature thermal water. Inflow of cations and anions by natural or artificial solutions into high- temperature thermal water seeping in magnetic rock of alumo-silicate composition is accompanied by their sorption by gels of colloidal solutions, clay minerals with electric charge being neutralized, coagulation, gelation and deposition of hydrogels with sorbed cations and anions of geochemical and biochemical barriers. EFFECT: enlarged burial area, simplified procedure, improved ecological reliability. |
