FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: proposed electrochemical sensor of gas composition is related to measurement equipment and is intended for electrochemical measurements to determine composition of gas in technological aggregates, specifically, of content of oxygen with the aid of solid electrolyte measurement cell. It can be used in power engineering, metallurgy, oil refining and other branches of economy. Given electrochemical sensor includes branch pipe 1 housing heater 2 and measurement cell 3 which is attached to branch pipe 1 by means of flange unit 4. Heater 2 is also joined to flange unit 4. Branch pipe 1 is put on gas conduit 11. Flange unit 4 has test hole 5 with union 6 and hole 7 with union 8 for release of gas. Unions 6 and 8 are interconnected with the use of gas pipe-line 9 under mode of measurement of content of oxygen in roaster gas. Union 8 is closed by plug under mode of test of sensor with the help of testing gas mixtures and source of testing gas mixture is joined through union to union 6. Proposed design of electrochemical sensor allows its test to be conducted by means of source of test gas mixture at point of installation of sensor which decreases test period by scores of times. EFFECT: expanded application field, improved authenticity of measurements. |
