<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the drawbacks associated with the conventional techniques and to form an excellent film having a combination of lubricity, heat resistance, release property, wear resistance, and durability in the metallic mold for molding which is formed with the film consisting of nickel or a nickel- based alloy composed mainly of the nickel as a matrix and dispersed with graphite particles by dispersion plating on the inside surface of the metallic mold for molding glass which molds parison from, for example gob. CONSTITUTION:A water-soluble high polymer is made to coexist as a dispersant in a dispersion plating bath prepd. by dispersing graphite into a soln. of a water- soluble nickel salt and the metallic mold for molding glass is immersed as a cathode therein with the nickel metal as an anode and is subjected to plating to suppress the growth of the nickel or nickel-based alloy in the film in a perpendicular direction and, further, a plane direction and to form the film consisting of the matrix of the nickel or nickel-based alloy which is a flake shape and is continuous as a whole but exists in the form of open cells and the graphite particle phase which is held in the open cells and is exposed to the outside on the front surface.</p> |
