<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title structure excellent in air permeability without impairing the functions inherent in mesh with open pores' area accounting for at least a specified proportion of the mesh portion, by coating one surface of a mesh textile structure with a synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A mesh textile structure comprised of natural animal or vegetable fibers or synthetic fibers is subjected to water-repelling treatment and then put on a cushioning sheet. This structure is then coated with an additive having film-vanishing effect, for example, a synthetic resin solution (e.g. of polyurethane resin or acrylic resin) containing e.g. dimethylpolysiloxane or amino-modified silicone, followed by drying and heat treatment to produce open pores with their total area accounting for >=60% of the mesh portion of the structure, thus obtaining the objective mesh textile structure excellent in air permeability without impairing the functions inherent in mesh, which is suitable as a material for summer clothing or sportswear.</p> |
