<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the stable operation for long time by stabilizing liquid supplying rate to a drying and roasting furnace in a hydro-treatment for obtaining a nickel concentrate in a garnierite. CONSTITUTION:In the treating method for garnierite, by which the garnierite is leached with hydrochloric acid to separate the leached residue containing silica as the main component and the leaching liquid containing Ni, Fe and Mg and the leaching liquid is dried and roasted, and the total quantities of Ni and Fe and a part of Mg are made into water-insoluble materials, and hydrochloric acid gas is recovered and this roasting produced material is water- washed to separate the water-insoluble materials composed of the total quantity of Fe and a part of Mg and the water solution of MgCl2, a pressure-buffering air chamber 2 is arranged to an outlet side piping for a pump 1 for supplying the liquid into the furnace in the drying and roasting process.</p> |
