SLIDER FOR SLIDE FASTER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE:To manufacture a slider for a slide fastener in a simple manufacturing process and a firm solid manner the slider having a connection column which can not be produced by conventional method e.g. press. CONSTITUTION:In one of a pair of blade pieces 3, 4 forming a separate body a connection protrusion 8 is formed at the divided connection column 5a thereof. A connection groove 9 is provided at its connection protrusion 8 while a connection hole 10 is bored at the divided connection column 5b of the other blade piece. The connection protrusion 8 is then fitted in the connection hole 10. A part of wall of blade piece 4 provided at the connection hole 10 is flowed in a connection groove 9 due to the flow action caused by plastical deformation so that both blade pieces 3, 4 are integrally connected to each other to provided a required slide body 1.
