PURPOSE:To prevent a decline of machining energy of a laser beam by providing a pin height changing means to change those pin heights so that the geometric surface including plural pin tips is inclined at the machining position. CONSTITUTION:This is a work holder for the laser beam machine to hold a work 3 by the tips 1b of plural erected pins 1. A cam plate 13 having a wedge- shaped cross section to change those pin 1 heights so that the geometric surface including these plural pin 1 tips 1b are inclined at the machining position and a cylinder for moving the cam plate 13 back and forth are provided. In addition, the tips 1a of the pins are made into the mirror surface and further, the tips 1b of the pins 1 are made into the projecting curved surface. Consequently, when the work having high light reflectivity is subjected to laser beam machining, it is not necessary to incline an optical path of the laser beam on the laser beam machine side and a complicated rotary mechanism with high accuracy to incline the optical path without declining machining position accuracy is obviated. In addition, the decline of machining energy of the laser beam can be prevented by reduction the number of reflection mirrors on the optical path. |
