PURPOSE:To keep cutter knives from a die surface or pressure weld to the die surface by moving a holder in the axial line direction to a drive shaft by means of pressure fluid in a closed chamber between a cutter holder and the end surface of a cutter drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:A granulating machine 1 is provided with a die 3 mounted close to a manihold 2, a cutter case 4 mounted on the surface side of the die and a cutter 5 installed in the case. A plurality of cutter knives 11 are fixed radially on the outer periphery of the die 3 side end surface of a cutter holder 10 of the cutter 5, and revolving force is transmitted to the cutter holder 10 by a cutter drive shaft 12. The holder 10 and the drive shaft 12 are respectively fit and connected with slidably in the axial direction, and a closed chamber 38 is formed between the holder 10 and the end surface of the drive shaft 12. Pressure fluid is introduced into said chamber, and a spring 43 to encourage the holder in the direction to keep away from a die surface between the holder and the drive shaft. The cutter knives can be pressed on the die surface or kept away from the die surface by adjusting the pressure of said pressure fluid. |
