PURPOSE: To obtain a decoding and deciphering method by which an introduced error can be corrected by deducing a sampling frequency for reception based on a prescribed expression and adjusting the address of a cutting point, and then, advancing or lagging the phase in sampling. CONSTITUTION: An A/D converter 100 deduces a sampling frequency fr for reception which is lower than a sampling frequency fo for transmission based on an expression fr =(q/p)fo (where, (e) and (q) respectively represent integers). A false random sequence generator 400 introduces an address position in chrominance memories C1 and C2 against a new axis of abscissa by using (b) as the integer which is closest to the computed results of a'=(p/q)a (where, (a) represents the axis of abscissa) and (g) as the decimal part of a'. Then MAC video signals are rotated in the direction opposite to the direction in which the signals are rotated prior to transmission and a write counter 300 writes chrominance components in the memories C1 and C2 and luminance components in memories Y1 and Y2 . The writing corresponds to the start of the chrominance components and, when g<=0.5, the phase fr is advanced by (g). When g>0.5, the phase fr is lagged by (1-g). |
