The extrusion (1) is made from rubber and has two free ends. One of these ends is equipped with a rigid reinforcing element (2), comprising a sole of a thermoplastic material which is fitted to the end of the seal or an adjoining lip. The reinforcing element can be attached to the seal by adhesive or it can be moulded onto it by injection. The sole has a number of studs (4) on it which clip into holes (5) in the extrusion lip. |
