PURPOSE: To provide a document loading base wherein a document of a plurality of kinds of size can be loaded by a separating/conveying order simultaneously in a plurality of sheets to improve utilization. CONSTITUTION: In a document loading base 2, a central loading part 3 of loading a document in minimum size is formed, to form a positioning part 4 in one side in a width direction of a document in the central loading part 3. In an opposite side to the positioning part 4 of the central loading part 3, stepped parts 5, 6, 7, 8 of loading an end part of a document by a number corresponding to a number of size of the document are formed in a staircase shape, and document loading surfaces 5b, 6b, 7b of loading a document loading surface 3a of the central loading part 3 and loading an end part of a document in each stepped part 5, 6, 7 are formed in a tilt surface tilted downward with a tilt angleθprovided respectively in a size of the positioning part 4. The central loading base 3 of the document loading base 2 and the stepped parts 5, 6, 7 are formed in tilt surfaces 3b, 5c, 6c, 7c in a condition that the document conveying side end part is tilted downward toward a document conveying direction further to gradually decrease a step difference of the stepped parts 5, 6, 7.
