PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of a freezing cycle in a heat pump type air conditioner wherein it has two fan means, and air is fed from a lower portion upon heating while air is fed from an upper port ion upon cooling. CONSTITUTION: Upon heating a first heat exchanger 3a includes a saturation temperature part and a second indoor heat exchanger 3b includes a supercooling temperature part while upon cooling the first indoor heat exchanger 3a includes the saturation temperature part and the second indoor heat exchanger 3b includes a superheating temperature part. The first indoor heat exchanger 3a heat exchanges with air fed from a fan 7a while the second indoor heat exchanger heat exchanges with air fed from a fan 7b. Hereby, the amount of air passing through the indoor heat exchangers 3a, 3b increases whereby the efficiency of a freezing cycle can be improved and such an effect is ensured that hot air is fed from a lower portion while cold air is fed from an upper portion. |
