CONTROL OF CAMBER IN LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION OF ROLLER LEVELLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a camber in the longitudinal direction of a roller reveller without the effect of tension variations. SOLUTION: In straightening a steel sheet 1 using a roller leveller 2 provided with plural roll units, a simulation is performed using information of the steel sheet 1 before straightening and specification information of the roller leveller 2, and a rolling reduction of the leveller roll capable of absorbing the effect of tension variations is obtained. A straightening without any camber in the longitudinal direction is obtained by setting a draft of an entering side rolling reduction device 6 and a leaving side one 7 using the obtained rolling reduction.
