METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GUIDING FAULT RESTORATION OF AUTOMATIC TELLER MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain fault restoration by remotedly guiding a user without sending a personnel necessary for an emergency countermeasure to the site to the utmost when a fault is generated at an automatic teller machine(ATM) without a clerk in charge. SOLUTION: The generation of a fault at automatic teller machines 11 to 13 interactively executing transaction through a display and an input device is monitored at a monitoring center 20. When a fault is generated at one of the automatic teller machines, the analytic part 213 of the monitoring center 20 analyzes the cause of the fault to display a guiding picture remotedly instructing for restoring the fault on the display of the automatic teller machine. Thereby a slight fault is eliminated by obtaining the help of an end user.
