<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and highly accurate GPS receiver having excellent synchronization responsiveness by providing a frequency converting means, a local oscillating means, a reference oscillating means, a signal processing means, a clock oscillating means and a reference oscillation frequency correcting means. SOLUTION: Comparison is made among the oscillation frequency of a local oscillating means 3, the oscillation frequency of a reference oscillating means 10 and the oscillation frequency of a clock oscillating means 8 by a reference oscillation frequency correcting means and thus, the oscillation frequency temperature of the reference oscillating means 10 is easily performed and a highly accurate GPS receiver is provided. The reference oscillation frequency correcting means includes a storing means 9 for storing the temperature characteristics of the crystal oscillators of the reference oscillating means 10 and the clock oscillating means 8 and by considering the temperature characteristic of each crystal oscillator, the oscillation frequency of the reference oscillating means 10 is corrected. Thus, the crystal oscillator of each of the reference oscillating means 10 and the clock oscillating means 8 is realized by an inexpensive crystal oscillator (SPXO) and an inexpensive and highly accurate GPS receiver having excellent PPN code synchronization respoinsiveness is provided.</p> |
