<p>The invention provides a traction control system (10) that reduces torque on a slipping, spinning wheel (12, 13, 14, 15) by detecting when a wheel is slipping and spinning and then reducing the torque applied to the slipping wheel by decreasing the hydraulic motor (18, 19, 20, 21) displacement. The system responds to the velocity of an individual wheel relative to the other wheels.</p> |
